Megan McClaire
Chief Deputy Director of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health
Megan McClaire is chief of staff of the Los Angeles Department of Public Health, where she oversees the Center of Health Equity and Office of Planning, a program rooted in community engagement and cross-sector collaboration to address health equity issues impacting county residents. She also directs implementation efforts for priority initiatives within the department.

Nkem Ndefo
Founder & President, Lumos Transforms
Nkem Ndefo is the founder and president of Lumos Transforms and creator of The Resilience Toolkit, a model that promotes embodied self-awareness and self-regulation in an ecologically sensitive framework and social justice context. Licensed as a nurse midwife, Nkem also has extensive post-graduate training in complementary health modalities and emotional therapies. She brings an abundance of experience as a clinician, educator, consultant, and community strategist to innovative programs that address stress and trauma and build resilience for individuals, organizations, and communities across sectors, both in her home country (USA) and internationally.

Veronica Figueroa is the owner of Art MVF Design and the Executive Director of DAMA, Inc. Through art-making and creative expression, she has promoted community art spaces where people can come together to build community, heal, connect, and draw positive change. Her community activism expands to creative expressions where she uses her artistic abilities to bring awareness to social issues and support community members in their healing process.

Tracy Colunga
Chief Innovation Officer,
City of Long Beach
Tracy M. Colunga, MSW, is the Chief Innovation Officer for the City of Long Beach. She manages the Office of Civic Innovation and is currently co-leading the City’s Economic Equity Study and metrics reporting for the City’s Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act funding. She has spent her life’s work focused on policies and projects that advocate for African American, Latinx, Cambodian/Cambodian American, and people of color.

An award winning multidisciplinary artist & humanitarian with the focus of supporting universal inner & outer peace in a realistic, fun, & passionate way. A SAG actor, spoken word artist and TED speaker, he also hosts events while giving writing workshops for colleges or high schools sharing the fun, healing and creative power of poetry. No matter the stage, he reminds us we're all vulnerably, infinitely, beautifully human. Supporter of gender equality, human rights, animal rights, and global education, so much so, he helped build two gender equal schools in Malawi & Nepal.
